A Girl's pride

Image
Halo girl's My girls and me (left Grace and right Mutago) Today my heart is filled with godly pride. Just like the bible says that she who boast must boast in the Lord, that she knows Him and that she understands His love and righteousness ( Jeremiah 9:24 ). My husband and I started evening devotions with our two girls (Grace 9, and Mutago 7) beginning of this year. It's so amazing how the truths of God's word get manifested in our lives. God's word is like a little seed we plant, we water it everyday having faith that one day we will see a plant shooting out from the soil. And everyday you look and wish to see something, and eventually you see that the soil has cracked then you know in your heart that the plant is ready to come out. Telling my girls about God and the ways of God is like planting seeds. Everyday I pray and believe that the words of God will have an effect on their way of living. On their behaviour and even their way of thinking. This m...

Miracles Part 2

Good morning Girls, as promised this is the concluding article on my girls operation and God's wonders. 19 March 2012 Well it’s almost a year after I wrote this. Well some may wonder what happened with Mutago. Well Mutago is alive and running around. She got a heart surgery 10 th of May 2011. They usually perform two surgeries on children with such conditions, the second one after 6 months. But God is good and merciful, Mutago good both operations at the same time, as she was already “passed age”. Well my first article stared with the words “I have never seen a miracle in my life”, well I have. I have seen a miracle in my life, Mutago was that miracle. It was shocking to the doctors how this 6 year old girl survived with such a condition all this years, and how she could look so normal. It also amazed me when I saw other children younger then her, even babies that really looked like they where sick, but in Mutago’s life I have not seen her as a child who was sick, except fo...

Miracles

Hi ladies, just wanted to share with you something I wrote last year. The follow up wrting to this will I blog tommorow. ( 26 April 2011) I have never in my live seen a healing miracle. I have heard of them, read about them on the internet or even in the Bible. I believe that God can and is able to do anything if we believe. I wonder if believing has different levels. I wonder if and when we pray for a healing miracle that first God should tell us to pray about it or that we should pray because we are hoping for God to heal us. My baby has a heart defect. Her name is Mutago, 6 years. We went to Cape Town 2 weeks ago, hoping to get an operation but her temperature was high, going up and down and they couldn’t operate. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways” declares the Lord. 1 At this very moment in my life I know that God always has a plan for all of us. And I know that He has a plan for Mutago as well. When we were in SA I read scripture...

Comforted

God always has a way to comfort, no matter what you are going through. I had a tough past days. I was so confused about how my life is headed, questions like: When will find a permanent job? When will we buy a car? When will we buy a house? and all the other things you can imagine a girl wants. This morning my two girls did not go to school because the car that takes them was broken, and we only find that out this morning, you can only imagine how broken I was. My eyes filled with tears I told God how unfair all these are. But there is always this still calm wind that blows over your soul, calming your spirit and whether you realise it or not He is there, to comfort. I am so greatfull for the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. He is our peace and strength, and I know whether I have all the world or nothing at all God is all I need and all we need girls. So let our hearts be comforted today, He sees our tears, and knows our fears. Share with me how you were comforted my the Com...

Getting Started

Image
Halo girls, this is my first day on my blog. My name is Kasperienda or you can call me Casey, thats more shorter :) I always wanted to start a blog, and like most of us do, this was one of my goals for this year, here I am fulfilling my first new years resolution. Maybe some of you will wonder why I called my blog "Girl's heart for Christ". Well I am a typical African girl from Namibia, and I long to give my heart every day to Christ. If you are African you will understand that statement clearly. My desire is to share my faith and my difficulties and joy in turning my heart to Christ and to be wholly His. I will share my dreams and lifes journey with you girls and would love to learn lessons from your comments. Till next time girls "have a heart for Christ". You are welcome to share with me your resolutions (or dreams to be more harmless) for this year (2012).
